Course Description:
The Workplace Stress workshop provides an overview of what stress is, its impact, and how it manifests in a workplace setting. Participants will explore psychosocial hazards, stress management strategies, available support options, and the shared responsibility of employers and employees in creating a psychologically safe work environment.
This workshop complements Psychosocial Safety at Work, a half-day session designed for managers and leaders with direct reports.
Objectives
- Recognise psychological hazards and understand their influence on workplace stress.
- Identify potential signs and symptoms of workplace stress.
- Identify strategies to mitigate workplace stress and connect with further supports as required.
Who will benefit from this training?
- Any team members, providing a foundation in workplace stress and psychosocial hazards.
- Can be used to educate team members about psychosocial workplace hazards alongside Psychosocial Safety at Work training for managers and team leaders.
