Would you know where to turn if you or someone you care about was struggling?
Join Lifeline WA for a free community session designed to help you better understand the support available and feel more confident having conversations about mental health, wellbeing and seeking help.
Developed in collaboration with Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service (DYHS) and McNeair Aboriginal Psychological Services, this session will provide insight into what happens when someone contacts Lifeline or 13YARN, how these services support people through difficult times, and how you can connect yourself or others with the right support when it’s needed.
Many people want to help a friend, family member, colleague or community member who is doing it tough, but aren’t always sure what to say or where to start. This session aims to build understanding, reduce barriers to seeking support, and empower people to take action early.
Whether you’re looking to support yourself, a loved one, a workmate or someone in your community, you’ll leave with practical knowledge, greater confidence and a better understanding of the services available.
Bring your colleagues, team members, friends or family along and join us for an informative and welcoming session.
Free catering will be provided.
Thank you, WAPHA.
Thanks to the continued support of WAPHA, both sessions are free for you to attend. If you have a question on a workshop or would like more information, please get in touch with Lifeline WA via the email address below.
