Leave a gift in your will

Free professional will writing is available from the 7th–13th of September, 2026.

For 40 years, Lifeline WA has been a source of hope, connection and support for Western Australians facing their toughest moments. By leaving a gift in your Will, you can help ensure that support remains available for generations to come.

Once you’ve taken care of the people closest to you, a gift to Lifeline WA is a powerful way to leave a lasting legacy. Whatever its size, your gift can help provide crisis support, suicide prevention services and the human connection that can make all the difference when someone is struggling.

To thank you for considering this special form of support, we’re offering a free Will-writing service through our partner, willed. Your legally valid Will can be updated at any time, and the complimentary service is available from 7-13 September.

Why leave a gift in your will?

A gift in your Will is more than a future donation. It’s a decision to stand beside people you may never meet, people who may one day feel overwhelmed, alone or unsure how to keep going. Your legacy can help Lifeline WA continue to…

Support more Australians in need

Being there for Western Australians who need crisis support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Provide hope and connection

Offering a safe place to talk and helping people find hope when life feels overwhelming.

Supporting our Crisis Supporters

Training and supporting volunteers to listen with care, compassion and without judgement.

Building for the future

Planning ahead so Lifeline WA can continue meeting the needs of our community for years to come.

Loved ones first, always

Writing or updating your Will is a deeply personal decision. We encourage you to look after your family and loved ones first, and to seek professional advice so your wishes are clearly recorded.

Once you’ve provided for the people closest to you, you may choose to include a gift to Lifeline WA. Some people leave a percentage of their estate, some leave what remains after other gifts have been made, and some choose a specific amount or asset. There is no single “right” way – only what feels right for you and your circumstances.
