I was in dire straits when I called and spoke to a young man. He listened to me, and he understood me. He tried to help me out. He helped me to feel a person again, not a blob. He heard me and understood me. I am so grateful that I could get some of the pain out of my system just by talking.

The young woman I spoke with was amazing. Her gentle empathy and careful listening made me feel heard and understood. She reflected my feelings with such care, and I felt so much lighter after our conversation.

I rang this morning and spoke to a young lady who was incredible. She listened to me, she heard me, and she helped me. She had a wonderful sense of humour and such a beautiful soft tone in her caring voice. Thank you to the stranger on the end of the phone.

I didn’t know how much I needed to talk until that moment. Simply knowing that someone understood my struggles made a significant impact. I realised I wasn’t alone, and there were real steps I could take to begin feeling better. It’s incredible how much support can change a life, and I hope others can receive that same help.
