Course Description:

Discover the range of services offered by Lifeline WA and gain insight into what to expect when engaging with a Lifeline crisis supporter. This session will also equip participants with practical strategies to initiate a conversation with someone they’re concerned about and encourage further help-seeking. 

Objectives 
  • Describe Lifeline’s services and what to expect when using crisis support. 
  • Recognise signs that someone may be feeling distressed or in crisis. 
  • Outline steps on how to support someone in distress. 
  • Identify ways to connect individuals to appropriate support services.
