Course Description:
Discover the range of services offered by Lifeline WA and gain insight into what to expect when engaging with a Lifeline crisis supporter. This session will also equip participants with practical strategies to initiate a conversation with someone they’re concerned about and encourage further help-seeking.
Objectives
- Describe Lifeline’s services and what to expect when using crisis support.
- Recognise signs that someone may be feeling distressed or in crisis.
- Outline steps on how to support someone in distress.
- Identify ways to connect individuals to appropriate support services.
